This project was created from the ground up for the parishioners of St Phelomena. The idea was to integrate as much natural light as possible. Over the Sanctuary a Clerestory was designed bouncing natural light within to create a soft warm glow most of the day while indirect cove style fixtures take over in the evening and early mourning hours. A series of spot accents highlight the liturgical points for different events i.e. Mass and Weddings. A separate set of accents accentuates the choir, cantor, piano and organ. Skylights illuminate the pews during the day as dimmable CFL downlights along with Quartz lighting enhance the pews at night. A larger skylight sits just over the new marble Baptismal Font while a series of MR16 adjustable spots add sparkle day or night into the water and onto the stone.
