ABOUT ME
Bridget has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Lighting Design
from California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA. During and after college
she designed lighting for various theatrical and dance productions in Southern California.
In 1988 Bridget began work as an Architectural Lighting Designer for Disney Imagineering; later moving on to architectural lighting design working
with Ralph Swarens & Associates Inc. in ElMonte, California.
Starting her own firm in 1994, Bridget later earned her Lighting Certification (LC) from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP). She is a sustaining member of Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES), a member of Designers Lighting Forum (DLF), and a professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD). Bridget has earned regional and international design awards for her work.
As a Professor of Lighting Design at Mt San Antonio College, Bridget spent three years inspiring students to understand the importance of light and lighting design.
Ms. Williams has worked on a variety of other projects including libraries, offices
of all types, theatres & performing arts centers, hotels, high-end homes, retail stores, casinos, monuments, building facades & landscaping. Moreover, she accomplishes most of her lighting design and consultation work in Houses of Worship.
